I was sincerely 'incorrect' about my first assessment of this work. The first few poems from a writer are judged more harshly than those that follow. WHY that is? Who knows. I suspect people who read 'new' works' by writers Are quickly to dismiss attempted fresh ways of expression. MY MYTHICAL KING OF BABYLON will further 'concrete' it's 'flavor' as more writings from you, Sourav, the writer...deliver to your accepting readers. And that process is difficult to explain. We all have different styles and approaches. And that 'talent' often emerges for those new 'births'. Like... one child born is different from all others. Oddly enough, I follow and like this poem after reading your other 'piece'. This is very well done!

I understand 'he did not retaliate' however...I did n't discover the thread within the poem to convince me that he should want to and why?
