My Mute Words Poem by Namita Rani Panda

My Mute Words

May be due to my crown of ego
or the cloak of baseless fear
I strangulate the wish of my words to utter
which lay inside in heaps
like the miracle leaves
rustle and bustle
scream and struggle
sodden in tear,
scream in anger
they whimper and whisper,
pinch and torture,
till they grow into thousand shrubs
And the peace of my mind do they rob,
ceaselessly scratch and injure
and constantly remind me my failure and lack of valour
and turn me to a forest of regret and displeasure!
So, it's really better to give words wings to fly and flutter
and express what they wish to utter!
