Of all people as great in this world to fathom
To honor are mothers, as fountains of wisdom
Their love for kids, given first on umbilical cord
Among them, my mother I praised, I adored
She directed me to the way of righteousness
With her guidance, wisdom being she's a compass
Guided me how to be in good attitude, be nice son
With warmth in love given to me, for she's a sun
My mother, a tree that provides shade and the nest
Protected me, my brothers, sisters with her best
By her kindest heart, along with her compassion
Equally as our shield, my shelter, my haven
Though my mother, now in heaven, her love divine
To us in constant presence, and in endless shine
So, I am wholeheartedly grateful to my mother
The reason being, I'll not be who I am without her
