My Mother Dear Poem by Timber Koleden

My Mother Dear

Rating: 5.0

Though times and seasons pass away
and though times of laughter can never stay;
you always give me a smile;
wether sun or rain, thoughts of you keep me happy all the while.

Whether night and bitter chill,
or summer bright and green of hill.
Whether forest black and brittle,
or mountain tall and warmth too little.
Or shadowlands that know no light,
you shall always be a lantern bright;
glowing faithful, sun or moon,
lighting my road and blessing me with glad tune.

Wether tomorrow I see your face
or we are parted for a thousand years by time and space,
I will always love you like no other,
my dear and lovely Mother.
