Dear Cassandra, You are missing from this page long time since. Where have you gone? Hope you are doing fine, wherever you are! Thinking of you particularly at this time of CORONA Pandemic all over the world. Please take care and stay safe! Miss you at PoemHunter, Miss your presence in my poems!

first the 'complaint'/suggestion: In times, My mother may be intimidating, and getting on my nerves...............maybe it is because of where i grew up, but i would use At times, not In times. ====================== now for what poets (i think) all like to hear..........................BRAVO! this is really, really good. i am tempted to call it great, but i don't want your head to swell so much you can't get your hat on. i'll send it to MyPoemList now. i especially enjoyed: But you really should know, that even all the king's men and horses, Can never take away my love for you. very well done, cassie. thanks for sharing. :) bri you've inspired me to write of my own mom. Bri's Mom mom's face was such a sight! rightly so, she hid from the light! ! never a kind word from her lips, and her eyes shot bullets from their hips. only concerned for herself, never me. if i asked for food, she said do you think it's FREE! ? she sent me to school, but NOT for education; once she sent a note saying keep him longer. it's MY vacation! intimidating? yeah, i can see my mom WAS like yours. you should have seen how she piled on the chores! i learned a lot from being my mom's son, none of which was how to, with her, have fun. mom, i know i shouldn't say it, but I HATE YOU! i'm your SON. if you hadn't abandoned ME, away from you i would have run. some day i'll enlist the aid of the king's forces, and they'll trample you under the hooves of their horses! ! so THERE! ! ! ! i hope this one was funny enough for ya. :) bri

Wow, what a wonderful tribute to your your loving mom! 'Hazel eyes touched up with eye-liner, So often laughing but holding meaning as well.' - Liked these lines very much! 'But who could blame her? I am here to learn from her, not the opposite.' - Smiles....! 'But you should know, that even all the kings men and his horse, Can never take away my love for you.' - Your mother would be so proud to hear this! I loved this poem, enjoyed its taste fully.10/10.
