My Mom Poem by Namita Rani Panda

My Mom

Rating: 5.0

You're looking so peaceful and calm!
Let me rub your hurt pale palms
which are rough doing daily errands
to fulfil our every silly demands.
Let me smooth your cracked feet
which kept sprinting day and night.
Let me smear your forehead with soft kisses
which is lined with our infinite worries.
Let me hug you to keep you warm,
on us you showered all your warmth.
Let me drape you with my petals of love,
you can sleep peacefully in the heaven
above.
But won't you sing a lullaby before you bid
adieu?
How can your little princess sleep without
you?
