Like a heck from the past time............heck? ? might you mean speck? ? some favorite lines: The toddler tunes I struggled to sing, The toys moulded of clay. My bath tub, a tiny pristine bay, My cotton couch to lay.......................although i say lie is grammatically correct, not lay. but you would lose ......................the rhyme. AND many people will disagree with me! lay and lie are confusing. AND 'we' get to claim poetic license! you change the rhyme scheme in stanza 5. it is ok, but i RARELY do it. i don't know what to book the clock means. i might understand if you wrote to clock the book. maybe you hit the alarm clock with a book to stop the alarm? i like the poem. bri :)
