My Love. Poem by MIRAK Montiel

My Love.

My Love,

Sometimes your body struggles, and your spirit feels heavy—but to me, you are radiant. Your aura glows with a beauty that words can barely hold. That glow, that light, makes you perfect in ways no flaw could ever dim.

Even when you're not feeling your best, you're still gentle, still kind to me. Your smile brightens my darkest hours, even when your world feels shadowed. And when you sleep, I find peace just watching you—though I know that behind closed eyes, you sometimes fight battles I cannot see.

But you are not alone.

I'm here. Your knight in shining armor, if you'll let me be. I will fight your dragons. I'll brave your storms. I'll cross any sea just to bring you back to shore. Because the love you give me is worth every fight—and I want to give you that in return, endlessly.

I wrote this while you cried, feeling misunderstood, unsure of where we stood. But my love, I understand more than you know. I see you. And I promise: everything is going to be okay.

Just hold on to my hand.

We will find the way—together.
