I couldn't agree more with the essence of your poem. To rise and still be humble is a quality so rare. You are endowed with so many gifts. All shine through your poetry. Love the last two lines. Thanks for sharing. Many thanks for your recent comment.
Life is a change, a transformation of one kind or another. From birth to death there are actions and reactions and you have so humbly placed them in a sequence of reality, line after line. Every line has presented me the consequence of discovering the growth of something insignificant, materializing into something magnificent. I could sense the unpretentious and simple human being behind this lovely lines. It touches a chord within you. thank you valsa
Waiting for the touch of love and life! With positive moral values. Nice work.
What a poem followed by equally great note, It reminds me of a tree with full of fruits trying to bow down so that everyone can taste the fruits and appreciate. Littleness is a sign of greatness like twinkling little stars, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky.....I liked your poem, note and humbleness.
Thank you Asim for your lovely comment! This makes me all the more humble......!
You are what you are unique in your own way. No one else can take your place. Humility says it clearly.
I can do no better than to agree with Daniel's comments. I thoroughly enjoyed this poem!
The seven examples of your theme - small things longing for the transformation of themselves into higher forms of self - are all wonderful and succinctly expressed. I was totally convinced this is the nature of things: first, to become aware of their incompleteness; second, to identify what they must become; third, participate in the transformation. What a complete expression of this theme your poem achieves, and yet it is shot through with humility, not vanity as things stretch themselves to achieve their potential. Just a wonderful Poem!
Life has many hues and they come out while going through many situations. Nice drop.
Humility comes naturally only to those who achieves greatness. Not those born with it and not those who has it thrust upon them. A beautiful poem to remind all that we are nothing without the support of others!
I discern I am only a flickering shadow That has existence only if there is light- -What humble feelings! I really adore your poems and your persona.
Yes, we need others, we need light, we need to be discovered and purified, we need musical hands and fingers for the guitar, Yet, most of all, we need Christ for guidance! A lovely poem, Valsa!
But can I do anything wholly myself Never, everything depends on others will too....true dictum. Yes, we can't do anything wholly ourselves, everything depends on others will. I found your poet's Note below the poem which gave important hints about poem. The favourite lines are.....I discern I am only a flickering shadow That has existence only if there is light!
