With this poem you did express your inner thoughts and nicely presented, the emotion is well defined and your wish is heard and observed....and the observation I made is your title..I can't comprehend with ' interospection ' maybe you mean -Introspection - = a self - contemplation of your inner thoughts.....otherwise this poem well represented and written well...

My young friend, I wish I could be so direct and powerful as you are in all my expressions. 'Wish i could write like William Wordsworth Wish I could sing like the songbird Wish they knew the words hurt And I wish I could be truly heard' ..........................WOW.....................
