My Immortal Poem by Isunge Mwangase

My Immortal

Rating: 5.0

You let me fall but held my heart together,
You blew me to the depths of Hades but held my breath,
You left me but let me keep your soul,
I cry all my tears out on the sand
But the rain washes them away-
Absorbing the dregs of their saltiness,
Thus making the tears in my eyes fresh,
You are the only answer where there is no question,
Everyone has a place to die;
I sprinkle my blood on your heart for it to open-
For there, I will die
