My home of lakes and whispering streams,
Where fishes play and a tawny owl screams.
Valleys formed from nature's tune,
Lovingly lit by an unselfish moon.
Happy hours, gifted to me it seems,
My home of lakes and whispering streams.
My home of lakes and whispering streams,
My beloved Wales of sunshine and moonbeams.
This is the green land I love the best,
Filled with perfect peace and with rest.
Spaces so wide, for one and all,
Bidding souls a warm welcome call.
Where true nature softly smiles and dreams,
In my home of lakes and whispering streams.
Beautiful pictorial poem. Where scenes of nature with deep feelings stream with love for your native sod. A wonderful combination, reaches out, to captivate the reader. Of that there is no doubt. " My home of lakes and whispering streams My Wales of sunshine and moonbeams" Captivating lines as is the entire precious work! Love it!
