I have read thies poem in my childhood, again read today same flavour.
antique example of epigram the poet presents. 'the child is father of the man.'
Simple innocence. Simply evergreen. The simplest things in nature last the longest. So is this poem. What a great poem. Wordsworth's poems are worth the word.
I first heard this poem in the film, Control, and I've loved it ever since.
Come on, poem hunters! Let's not forget the classics. This poem is light, bouyant; that is, until you smack into 'The Child is father of the Man.' A great line that my seventh and eighth graders have fun with.
