You are on the left and I on the right
But my heart is not divorced
My soul is still consumed
By the unmanageable flames
Of a relentless and fighting love
I can't tell you too much
My being is absent from this schism
An unquenchable fire is still present
In the depths of things and of the psyche.
Darling, but my heart ain't divorced
And the papers are null, void and canceled
It's hard to destroy the shields of love
Sometimes the words don't come from the heart
We make mistakes in search of happiness
And we fight for nothing. Please put in the oven
The documents that we unfortunately signed
The flames of love are tenacious and eternal
Let's compromise and take it easy under the pergola.
