My heart & conscience
Wednesday,9th December 2020

The stars twinkled gently
and showed it happily
as if they had pure hunting ground
and with a reason to feel proud

I did not dare
and stared at the sky
it had a vast horizon
for us to place in the heaven

I had loved no one
but believed it as a sacred one
his eyes invited me for the date
was it for sealing my fate?

I debated for hours
but found an honour
it was really penetrating
in my heart and conscience

I was becoming restless
with a pleasant smile on the face,
will he embrace me and give gentle touch?
I will reach my ultimate destination
