A Poem: My Greatest Discovery
For 2000 years that the earth moved,
I waited for you, I never let go.
With my telescope, I methodically surveyed the sky
Until I found you amongst a zillion stars
You were a revelation, my precious discovery
You were a world in another world
When I beheld you high up there in the galaxy
How you sparkled so brightly with your gentle glow
In you I found my chemical and biological compositions
So, I'll keep watching the skies until you grace my heart
You are an embodiment of natural wonder
So, I'm willing to wait; my greatest discovery.
