This poem is quite unique. It shows our weakness in accepting other believes. You can find your own God in anything you put your faith into. There is nothing in the world which compares my and your God. God is one and only One.
This is one of those rare poems that hits the nail squarely on the head and hammers it's point deep into the human psyche.
Your poem is so true. I love the way you expressed the feel and prescence of God in your poem. Nice work.
and we all believe our god is the real god. otherwise we wont be kneeling to it year in and year out.
I think this is good. It's obviously a satire, people many people DO feel 'their God is in a book' (so to speak) . Your rhymes are good. It's one of those cases in which the sing-songy rhythm belies the intense-and, under it all, serious-subject matter.
With all do respect, if ur god is in a book, that alone, sounds like there is something.., ummm.., nvm.. G' day, Jodilee
This poem is really intriguing! It portrays religious discrimination. It made me curious what faith this author embraced. I want to try it maybe what he/she found was the real one among the fake others..
