My Girl Poem by Paul Warren

My Girl

The old songs can make me cry
As those memories go floating by
Those times still ring true
On the dance floor swaying with you

They start up and I know
Where the music will make me go
It's the darkened room with you so close
That's the time I like the most

I suppose you sometimes wonder
As I close my eyes and wander
Does he still love me better than the rest
But you are still my girl best.
