not to be picky, especially before i finish the poem (even though i read comments already) , BUT i would not be your friend Bri if i did not tell you, FOR ALL TO SEE! , that confident, though a 'good' word, is not the word for here. of course you might have just misspelled confidant. [who? Annette? ? ! ! ] hee-hee (i, Bri, thought it was spelled 'confidante'. oops! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - next he's laying silently by. ......you nailed he's, but you 'should' (grammatically-speaking) use lying, not laying, IF you mean Zac is reclining. MANY others do the same thing. the verbs lie and lay are confusing, even to me sometimes! chello........well, it sounds like it should be spelled 'chello', but at least in this country it is spelled cello! don't ask my why. maybe its Italian or somethin'? long lost makes me think he is just lost, not dead. but i guess he's dead. RIP. if indeed this is a true story, you have my condolences. i hope to go the same way: One moment, jumping up for joy next he's laying silently by. bri :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (thanks Google) Cello Musical instrument The cello or violoncello is a bowed string instrument with four strings tuned in perfect fifths. I know how I'd feel if I lost Mr Purry. Wouldn't dare dress him up though! One of our previous cats called Trixie was however very patient and my daughters used to dress her up and sit her at a desk to do her lessons. Trixie put up with it stoically. At night she always slept behind my pillow. A very sweet cat. Mr Purry is more of a boss cat, except when I groom him and tickle him under the chin. He can take a lot of that. Hope you get over it soon. It's very tough, I know. Loved the poem. Tom
