God can be felt and called as friend, father, mother, child, lover, husband and even a grand father..why not..there was a tamil poet by name Subhramanya Bharati who wrote about Krishna as his girlfriend in his poems... God is mine, yours, his, hers, theirs inclusive of all flora and fauna...a great inspiring poem that I have read in the recent times....thanks a lot....5 stars

A poem that carries the ultimate Truth with extreme beauty....a poem that preaches how to be in contact with that supreme Power... a poem that helps to have a pragmatic link with that supreme Power....God is everything to every individual..

Try not scare me With the dreadful thought of burning in Fire! ......... //......... Faith is indeed a great source of strength which the poet has persistently 'nurtured and always relied on'. I have enjoyed reading this wonderful poem with a divine message. Thanks a lot.

@Valsa George Thanks a lot for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts. 'The more we advance in age and experience, the more we become conscious of our limitations and helpnessess and the need to get plugged to the source of all power and energy! ' - I subscribe 100% to this observation.

'My sins cannot transcend the Forgiveness of My Friend'. This is my conviction too.... I believe in the inexhaustible mercy of a loving Father, (I would rather call Him a father) not only in my case but in the case of the entire mankind! I don't have any prejudice or apathy for those who hold different views. But I feel happy to see someone voicing my convictions and faith exactly in the way as I look upon Faith and God. The more we advance in age and experience, the more we become conscious of our limitations and helpnessess and the need to get plugged to the source of all power and energy! This staunch and vehement declaration of Faith in Him in the most poetic way, I enjoyed much!

As the years pass us by wisdom is gain. Wisdom without understanding causes pain. Solomon in council to his son made it plain. Wisdom is everything but in all your getting get understanding. Our wisdom comes from the one inside. A promise made from our Friend that we take in stride. To His words we strive to abide. We stumble we fall in our understanding there is redemption for us all. I can write for hours on end but for now I will suspend. Terrance Tracy

What an inspirational poem very eloquent and no doubt John 15 verse 15 was the catalyst for the inspiration. I am particularly impressed by your courage to reveal your heart in prose. May I list you as my friend. PS: I have been trying to thank you for your kind words on my work however Enter the verification code has not been my friend it seems to co-operate at random.

It's great to have the Lord as your friend. To know that we are in trust with our friend, and know that our friend, will be forever our friend.
