Mother Nature keeps many a wonders for us. From snow to the ‘filthy grass" and then a grass bed full of green shoots… yessssss! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Love it.
I used to love to go barefoot when I was young. Too old to enjoy it now, I guess.
This topic must be untouched until now! I loved it--it was quirky and tickled my fancy! I hope you continue to march to the sound of that different drummer of yours! 5 stars at the least! favoriting it too

I love going barefoot, too. There's nothing else like it. A great poem!
I know what you mean, I no longer can stand cold weather and go barefoot or with flip flops. The poem brought feelings of being more natural than most people would like me to be.

In UK weather is not so harsh and I can enjoy the touch of grass on my feet. Today is bright sunshine.
