This poem brings me to that emotional cliff of life. So emotionally raw, it leaves me feeling the pain of the moment. Your talents are great within the walls of this world of poetry! Much love to you!

What a beautiful and soul gripping poem! I've thought about this subject so often but in terms of when my time comes and my daughter is left behind. It literally drives me crazy that even though I've told her I want no tears but just for her to remember the happy times and how a mom could never love her more than I, I know that when the day really comes she'll be devastated and they'll be not a thing I can do. You have worded this piece so beautifully that it is a must for my list of favorites!

These are very real fears we have when we truly love, but the water returns to calm when our swirling hand's removed. Good write.

When we truly love someone, these are our fears. But we also know that once the hand's removed, the stirred waters subside calmly.
