My Favourite Seasons Poem by Lisa AT

My Favourite Seasons

As autumn's palette starts to unfold,
Golden hues and crimson leaves take hold.
The sky is set aflame with pink and orange bright,
A cool crispness stirs, and day succumbs to night.

The darkness falls, and mornings lose their light,
Yet coziness abounds, a magical sight.
I crave the warmth of home, a haven from the day,
Snuggled deep beneath a blanket, candles lit the way.

The starry sky above, a celestial showcase rare,
Meteor showers dance, a fleeting spectacle to share.
Autumn's charm, a season I adore,
Followed closely by winter's snowy allure.

Snowflakes swirl, delicate and light,
A gentle kiss on skin, a wondrous sight.
I catch them on my tongue, a childhood delight,
Wrapped in my scarf, warm, safe, and snug through winter's night.

The houses start to twinkle, Christmas lights aglow,
Decorations abound, and children's laughter echoes, as they await the snow.
Santa's arrival imminent, joy and magic fill the air,
A season of enchantment, a time beyond compare.
