My Down South Girl Poem by Kewayne Wadley

My Down South Girl

Rating: 5.0

Let your hair down
Let the wind massage away your stress
As we ride through the night
Wipe the color from your eyes
It does you no justice
Your much more beautiful without it
I want to see you the way you came into the world
Before we knew how deep the strength of addiction
My down south girl
The sew in, the make up
Only masks the true beauty I see each time I look into your eyes
If I told you, you wouldn't believe me, instead I show you
My down south girl
Whats on your mind
Lets converse to the way infactuation has turned to addiction
Whats popped off during your day
How did it make you feel, is there anything I could do
I love the silk smile that spreads across your face
even more the wrinkles that stretch cheek to cheek when you get excited
My down south girl
May we contunue to hydroplane in the dreams where we never have to wake
