I would had fought for her both tooth and nail
For her I would had went straight to hell,
I would have gave up all that I had and owned
My life for her, I would have honestly postponed.
Without thought I would had swam the greatest seas
Climbed the highest mountains for her to please,
I would have gave her all that I have ever learnt
I would had carried her in the desert til my feet were burnt.
Happily I would have gave her all that I had
I would have given her every tear of mine that made me glad,
I already gave her the clothes literally from my back
So, that she wouldn't be wearing rags or a sack.
Truthfully I would have given her my heart and soul
Proudly in my chest there would be only a hole,
I have already gave her all even when she didn't ask
And all along I never wore a frown, and never a mask.
Now I look and I have nothing more to give
There truly is nothing left, I am now a sieve,
But, what she wanted, was me not known or at her side
She wanted what I wouldn't give her, my dignity and pride.
