My Destiny! Poem by Tyler Cobb

My Destiny!

How great my grief, my joys how few,
Ever since it was, I lost you, and by you, I mean me! For that's what happened in my injury.
The days are long,
But life seems wrong how can it be,
This life's not for me, I've got the potential to make it great! But people cause me to procrastinate, I can't get a chance as people they glance, see only what's on the outside never within! So they don't notice anything beyond my grin. But there is a lot of good behind my smile. You'll see it if only you'd focus for a while! Then you could see I've got the heart to work hard from the start. If you'd just give me a chance to be apart. You won't regret it; that's a guarantee, just give me the chance and I'll help this place improve, letting you know you made the right move, and I promise you that I won't fail!
Locking this place up like a jail! But I'll turn everything around to be great. Just wait and you will see, for being successful is my destiny!
