To see her loving face; but, death came and took her away. Nice work.
RIP Aunty Jillian... remember her existence when her existence becomes non-existent. Such a beautiful portal of yr aunt. My condolences goes out to you and your family. Thnx for sharing.
Rich and wonderful tribute paid to a adorable lady who left a great void after her death. Each of us will die in our own separate way But right now, my heart grieves in pain,
Check 1st word of 2nd stanza; just a suggestion! ! 3rd stanza: check cant, AND, besides being a fruit, what is lime? Does it mean to pick limes? I like the picture. You? Or the dead aunt? I was attracted to the title because you typed Dead. Some people would use a euphemism like departed, passed on, expired, .....but I like dead, the word, here. I better read the rest of it! I wuda used wuda if I hada thought of it. Hee hee. I liked the '3 L's' for the '3 K's'. Very nice. Bri :)
Hiii Bri, In Trinidad we use dialect in our speech so it comes out naturally in writing sometimes Used mainly for emphasis. A 'lime' in Trini dialect means a small party among few persons, just hanging out maybe drinking alcohol and having fun. That pic is my aunt. I miss her... Death is part of living. I did this poem for her funeral. May she rest in peace. Thank you for you words of encouragement and your suggestions are warmly appreciated. Atasha
