My Darling Poem by Skylark Woodrow

My Darling

I love you my Darling,
Love you to the point that I fear I can't let go.
My heart tremors within me for I know we haven't much time left,
And I know I shall be left behind when the time comes.
For death has come to steal you away from me,
But it shall not succeed for long
Because Darling; my heart is intertwined with yours,
And when your heart flutters and fades,
So too shall mine.
