Welcome to my country, where everyone is entitled to the government,
Yet no one thinks of their own improvement.
Even though in my country we practice socialism,
The mindset of the people believes we practice communism
Just like a wise man once said 'Do not think of what the government will do for you,
But what for the government you will do'
If we all think like that My country—our country—would rise.
And the day we would think like that greatness would be our prize.
In my country, bribery and corruption here and there
People die every day, leaving behind those who to them are dear
That's life in my country—a place where few are chauvinists,
Where her citizens have completely given up on being nationalists.
Where some would sell their motherland for profit,
How selfish are they, forgetting those who will be misfit
Because of their their animalistic greedy and reckless ways,
Yet they remain proud of their abnormal litigation.
In my country, among our leaders,
Lies defenders of their own needs,
And not the nation's or the citizens' needs.
If only they would stop all their hullabaloo
And steer our country right,
Rather than acting like nincompoops.
This can only happen if we work together, peacefully.
Then we will eat the great fruits of our labor joyfully,
Without the minds of many stressed with worry.
Remember, this can only happen with our one great touch.
After this, I look forward to a great country—
A land where peace will flow in perfect harmony
