My Comfort In The Night Poem by Samuel Richard Leonard

My Comfort In The Night

The flatline's dancing,
i'm here romancing,
though i'm only passing
on my way to find
some guy
because I have to try;
but now I cry, still wondering why
I'm smiling, while defiling,
my temple and life.
Now i'm fading, it's elating,
and the one thing on my mind
is all this time passing by
and it makes me feel sublime.
