Yes Amir, no matter how tough and difficult a childhood has been, we will always remember it as the best part of our life. Great poem, very eloquently composed. Ingeborg von Finsterwalde

I can identify with you. Revisiting my childhoods a favorite pastime. It gives such joy an assurance, especially in these times. A peaceful, nostalgic poem.

Though I do not miss my childhood Amir, I still feel the longing in this writing. Beautifully expressed :)

and my only pain was my injured knee not a broken heart like these days........... So very true! I love these lines! A very realistic picture you have drawn of your childhood... Childhood is a time when we often cry over our injured limbs... Then we never knew the aches of an wounded heart! It was a time when when we had no enemies, but the sibling jealousy made us see our brothers and sisters as rivals...! You have an innate flair for writing... With practise, you can grow into a real promise... Best of luck Amir!

Your poem expresses feelings and it is good. You could try to rhyme your poems with a kind of rhythm. Keep writing, you are on your way to writing great poems.
