Wo! what you said- -the child in me will never go. This is what seems to be true to everyone. Good writing.

Very good Poem. I like how you said the child in you will never go. I wonder if I could use this poem in school for a homework to say what this poem tells you]]?

Exactly how I felt, I had to lose my childhood at age eight when my parents were going through divorce, and I was the weirdo or freak to the other kids, but the child in me never left, insults were just another unique complement to me

Childhood is the best stage of life for any human being. Fun, carefree, innocence, security and protection and lots of love from elders. As you grow up, you miss all those nice things.Well written. If I may say so, avoiding repetition of childhood could make your sweet little poem still better.

Dear Jahanvi Recollecting the vivid childhood is common nature for every one I think but when you think about the later stage we all want to get back the child hood. So many poets narrated so many poems very effectively about this subject. You too very effectively expressed it. Congratulation. Nooruddeen
