My Chief Investment

My Chief investment is God
I want to know Him more
To spend my time more wisely
For it's He that I"m living for
Though burdens come upon me
I take them everyone
And cover them with lots of prayer
Until the unraveling is done

And prayer and praise intermittently
Calm every fear within
And when I'm faced once more with burdens
That process begins again
So I"m often with my Father
In times of such duress
I know this is His will for me
It's my contemplativeness

Thank you heavenly Father
For I know I am your son
I've placed my trust in Jesus Christ
And my faith journey has begun
What You have undertaken
To bring to me such delight
Your investment for my well being
Has brought me into the Light

What grand and glorious redemption
In the provision of your Son
Who shed His blood on Calvary
Providing Salvation for each one
Who truly repents and receives Him
Shall know the love of God
And be transformed internally
With a heart to do men good!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
