so very sad david im sorry that happened to him but you did get to see him im happy for that 10
A sad story David, how cruel of your parents, and a shame you and he never had enough time, it saddened me to read this, but I'm glad you wrote it as a tribute to him, he will never be forgotten by you for sure, 10 Lynda xx
David, this is so sad; the only happy part, was you took him in again, you crossed the barrier of time and distance, as best you could, considering the groundwork laid by your family before you had a chance to learn the truth. I am so glad you found out what was real and what was fictional and had the guts to stand up against it and embrace your brother for himself again. I don't see how they could stand themselves really after what they did; but they are your family, so try not to judge them too much; sometimes it's easier on our minds to just try to believe that people did the best they knew how and we can't really hold them more accountable than that, however much our conscience tells us difference. You did all that you could humanly do, and should be able now to live with yourself. God bless you David. I'm so glad for having learned this about your life..(smile)
