My Book Of Life Poem by Randy McClave

My Book Of Life

My past it has been written
It cannot be erased or undone,
I have been both hurt and smitten
Sadly for someone else's gain and fun.
It has been written in my book,
In which God does take a look.

My book is in Gods library
It reveals me and my past,
It is read whenever there is an inquiry
All is answered that is needed to be asked.
But, my book doesn't sit alone,
Every soul has a book of their past to be shown.

My past it has been penned
With both my blood and my sadness and regret,
To my past worries and suffering I will not descend
It is or was my debt.
I now happily look for my tomorrows,
I will not seek hurt or sorrows.

My book I will write
As I look forward with the chapters laid out,
My future is both new and bright
There will be no errors again or doubt.
Proudly and bravely these words I have spoke,
My future in the book has yet been wrote.
