To the dark chamber of a mother's womb
A light from the great soul entered
And took the shape of an embryo
The embryo grew into a baby
One day the baby wanted
To break free from the dark watery world
And see the light outside.
The baby kicked and struggled and came to the earth.
This baby is me
My body has been shaped by the Almighty.
I am sent to this world for a purpose
My body houses the soul
Which is part of the Great Soul
I have to nurture this body
With the right nutrients, the right exercise and the right thinking
So that, I will have a healthy body
And a healthy mind with the power of reasoning.
My five senses are windows to the world
I can see with my eyes, smell with my nose
Taste with my mouth, hear with my ears
And feel the touch by my skin.
They all combinedly give me power
To perceive the world, see its beauty
Taste its food and smell its fragrance.
Like a temple houses God's Idol
My body houses my soul.
I will have to take care of it
Because a healthy mind resides in a healthy body
I will have to remain fit
till my soul leaves this mundane body
And goes back to the abode of Almighty.
