I have lost
My great boat, my strong boat
Of my lovely childhood days,
When I used to travel in it
A long distance over water
With pure energy and elan.
But now my famous vessel is weak and fragile,
With the time it has lost its superior strength and vigour,
Still as you all know my indomitable spirit,
Which never gives up;
Even with my frail and infirm boat,
I try to catch up the speed and enthusiasm of my glorious childhood time.
