My Aunties Poem by Elia Michael

My Aunties



I have lots of aunties ending in ou
Like Diamantou Patou and Katinou
Flourrou and Lenou, but some end in a
Panayiota Maria and Milia

And of course my late aunty Katina
But none of my aunts is named Athena
And I think only one aunt ends in e
That would be my aunty Antigone

But ou, a or e - they are all lovely
I toast them all with a glass of bubbly!
