Music, sweet, sweet music,
lead my heart to pastures green.
Lift me high above the stars,
place me on a dream.
You strum emotions deep within,
some of which, I never knew.
Your nest is in a lullaby,
where love is pure and true
When life turns parched and barren,
you come to set me free.
Emotions open wide their gates
knowing well, you are the key.
I left you once for poetry
You welcomed me back with opened arms
When I hold you tight with both my hands,
we both become one in the song
My neighbours say my clarinet sounds sweet. I bought a trombone today, I expect they'll complain now! ! !
