Murmurs Of The Heart -18 Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Murmurs Of The Heart -18

Rating: 5.0

The whole of you
Clings onto me,
Effortlessly following
The curves of my totality,
Like the morning dews'
Delicate beads
All over the roses.
But when the first flush
Of morning comes,
The dew ascends
As fast as it can
To meet the clouds,
Leaving the roses behind.

Your love is so fleeting!
A transitory satisfaction
For the flesh.
