This happens when only when any sport is not played in its true spirit. The difference between game and war defines the involvement of human emotions. The hype is created by the supporters and what happens in playing arena is the outburst of human emotions which transpires and involves supporters. A thought Provoking poem.10+++
You have composed this a sensitive poem brilliantly which is related to sports and culture. Violence during the matches mustn't be accepted. Great work.10
I don't know why supporters of teams, playing a match, take it as a war. We should take sports as sports not a war. Violence during the matches must be condemned. A great message in the poem, I support your views.
Thank you, Akhtar. When we personalize athletic competition, I agree, the results tend at times to bring out the basest of our human nature.
PH is acting up again. I had given you words of praise for this poem. But somehow, they're not there! Suffice it to say, It's Brilliant. Shining like a diamond in the sun!
Sport is always make things louder than a game, its about someone interest and personal sp...thats how it goes i guess hahahahaha...how it can sometimes make things bleeding without knife or gun in the hands. The way you write it here is interesting to me its like...hmm awaking sense of nervousness while share the points, the imagery that built by those words i feel like it is an adrenaline rush calling haha....as if we watching the sport itself
Soul, thank you so much. To be able to place you in the action....a great compliment.
Your poem is a sad reminder of the ongoing discriminate and indiscriminate violence in our societies. Your poem is a great example of a juxaposition. The family mall carpark and sporting venue, places of fun and enjoyment, also being the place of sickening brutality that others find to be fun and enjoyment.
Simone, thank you so much. And your observation- -yes, that is what prompted this poem. I started noticing just how often the term 'murder' came up in conjunction with or in the context of sports/sporting competition.
Thank you, Asim. Yes, I am always fascinated by crowds and how peaceful sport can become a 'war zone.' Thanks again, Asim.
