Lighting up your face,
her radiance is there
for many countless nights
You count moments to infinity
feeling her presence,
such glow seems to vanish
like a shooting star
Tell her not to seek refuge
behind those thick clouds;
your eyes may not see
the ray within,
just like a moon in hiding
Tell her not to borrow
nightly splendor
from a distant planet,
move in intended turn,
revolve on her own
and know when to return.
Tell her to burn brightly,
before the morning dew comes
and daybreak breeze fans
the glowing horizon;
but for tonight,
let her see
your true side.
