Very nice and thought provoking, but misery is we read it, praise it and forget it. But keep doing the great job to save the humanity...

Poetic effect of the poem is self evident. Pessimistic approach has ever allured poets all over the world. With the passage of time humanity seems to be becoming stony.

I like the attack on on hypocrisy in the first part of the poem, but I'm not sure if I understand the end.

'Smiling faces, hearts are numb' immmediately made me think of some experiences in fancy hotels. It is so easy to tell a forced from a true smile. The kindness for money, also so recognisable. Somehow, Santosh, I think that the people practising these falsehoods are on the losing end. I really believe a increasing number of people want to be kind and smile, just because of the peace of mind brings along. I think that sooner rather than later the number people doing that willl reach a critical level and that will change the world forever. This may be overly optiimistic, but if it turns out to be true, poets like you will be able to look back with lots of satisfaction since you will have given a major contribution to a better world. Congrats with this fantastic poem.

The clear observation of mankind little by little destroying this once beautiful earth. Everyday we are tampering with the atmosphere and contaminating the air and water with great indifference and without regard for our survival! Excellent and well penned write! 10+++ Thank for sharing, Love and Peace for always...

I like how 'stones' has a double meaning seeing as people have trouble moving on with life. Nice poem.

We are living in a heartless world. The number of Stone hearted, selfish people have increased to a large extent. This is the right time to recognize this fact. It is educative and thought provoking poem. Thanks
