Movement Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Movement

What does it all mean.? ? .. You mean thing.! ! ....

Maybe it's all but a grand illusion..? ! ? ...

Of constant confusion...to mull over

Let's just say as a real life example...

(If life is real) ..we don't have time for this
we're in such a frightful hurry...

Yes, yes, yes

To ponder, such things, at the moment
nor having the inclination to do so.....

Far tooooo busy

To determine if this or that is
moving quite-quickly

Or fast

As you quite-quickly dispose of your morning
coffee cup and saucer in the sink and rush

Off to work...

To find out the latest news, that has developed
which may not be available in your local newspaper

Are you actually moving fast-and also your environment
is moving quite-quickly perhaps, it only appears to be set

Please....who cares....!

Speaking of flying saucers, as you keep bringing up
the subject with such persistence and insistence

I listen intently....however

I do object to revealing such important information,
as this works for Perry Mason, it may work for me

We shall see, we shall see

I will tell you without any doubt or uncertainly
no little green men are manning the saucers

Only orange
