There, looking in, outside
With eyes of glow and silver shine
Staring with those tiny eyes
A mouse, I realize
Steady, tiny, little beast
This is a dream, I am not a feast
Go away; You give the creeps
Run off and let me sleep
Now, in the window, two of them
One staring in, one with a grin
I see you brought a mocking friend
I will not let you in
Behind the glass, within this dream
Another mouse now stares at me
And then, just then, begins to sing
A lullaby to me
Go away and let me be
You are nothing more, but just a dream
Three monsters in the moonlight sheen
Pretending, mighty beasts
As the singing starts to fade
Like apparitions dream away
The mice are gone, I'm here to stay
In dreams where I remain

A wholesome good-feeling read. (As long as you're not afraid of mice)
