A poem of great depth. A unique write and theme that only a few minds can weave. Yes, there are some of us that cannot co exist with themselves. Those that cannot feel the wonders of existence. And what is life when we despise the very foundation of existence? A life that has no meaning at all tantamounts to death.

Dear Kostas, you want to accept things as they are, as we know them, changes derange and are far from reality.. Just live your life in peace! Accept what is and cannot be changed. Right? There is a prayer that says, Please, Lord, help me accept what I cannot change" . It takes a great amount of strength to do it but in many cases it is the only way to have some peace. Great and very deep work, with an amazing exclusivity of form. Very original! Welcomed, poem of the day!

In order to crystallize beautiful artifacts in words, we have to be aware of beauty's obverse both in ourselves and in the world. As this poem demonstrates, such awareness can be painful at times. Your honesty in facing yourself is admirable. Congrats on being chosen for POD.

When these beautiful works can not be done, it must be a state of mourning. It is a lamentation and frustration for one's inability to do the things he is supposed to do. Congratulations Kostas Lagos for your poem being chosen as the Poem of the Day!

Congratulations Kostas! Your catchy poetry contains mixtures of irony, nostalgia, humour and philosophical truths. Happy PH has chosen you for this honour.
