I don't understand this fully - and perhaps the partially that I believe I do is off track - but oh boy do I FEEL it! I feel the progression of the poem. It's almost like special and honoured secrets being revealed gradually because the narrator and the mountain want to make sure that the recipients of those secrets understand how fragile-special and sensitive the secrets are. I feel honoured to be one of those recipients. I haven't looked up anything yet and I have made partial suppositions, but I want to enjoy it first - perhaps with days in between before I look up anything.
