Mother Tongue ia an identity. Each and every person like his or her mother tongue and feels proud of it. Dear sir, you too love your mother tongue 'Sinhala' that has unique features. Though your poem is brief yet it has vast circumferences in meaning. Above all it is a beautiful poem.

I truly love the open round Sinhala script. It is beautiful; as Valsa said, like a flower. I had a poem of mine translated to Sinhala...I enjoy just looking at it. Lovely poem about your mother tongue. Thanks for sharing.

Sinhala has a flowery script! Everyone should have a genuine love for his mother tongue. Most of the children born in foreign countries sadly do not know their mother tongue! A write quite suitable for the occasion!
