A sweet dedication to the mother, she is a ambassador of the god.
Thank you so much for reading this poem. I am grateful, Sir!
geeta, something the film the letters on mother teresa brings out, which i had read about previously, is the darkness, the feeling of abandonment she struggled against. i have felt this but not, as i understand it, for the extended period of years that mother teresa did. in my case, i had a wife in university working on her masters degree and two sons, so i had to carry on despite my feelings. in mother teresa's case, she had her work and so many who looked to her, a growing mission that stemmed from her- and she carried on. this, it strikes me, in itself is so admirable and worthy of beatification. it is a struggle of all of us, but in her intensified, to not be guided by the fear, depression, whatever is the negative in us. but, instead, to do the good we feel called to. glen
Saint Mother Teresa gave everything to the poor, sick and downtrodden. Her entire energy was spent on serving others. Yet, sometimes, in quiet moments of her life, the scribes write, about the darkness and inner struggle. i wonder whether this is true. Perhaps yes or no! because one who surrenders everything to God has no time to think of the self as an individual. Everything of hers was given away including her thoughts. Glen, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It is so good and generous of you. God bless!
