More and more, the SUN shines

That's what the motherhood is. Nothing else matches with the mother's love of supreme purity at heart. Thanks for sharing. X

Mothers wish a lot for their children. You are right, Hamid! Her desires flow like a river. She always prays for good luck for her children. For every mother, the child comes first, . She would sacrifice anything to make her child happy. A very sweet tribute to a Mother! God bless you, Hamid!

Thank you, Hamid. You have presented a very emotional tribute to all mothers. It is a pity that in spite of so many angelic mothers around, the mankind is marred by mindless violence and war. Angels listen to her talk She wants wellness and the luck To her daughters and her sons

I found this poem a little mawkish and sentimental but as for it being unworthy for poem of the day I disagree we have to have sorts of poems on this site and we should celebrated them all even if we don't like them. So I say thank you sir, even if I did not particularly like it, I found it well written and I am sure you touch many hearts a lot less stony than min. So congratulation for being poet of the day.

Paul, I can't fully agree with you here. Personally, I put no stock whatsoever that any of the three poem-of-the-day categories confer any recognition of intrinsic worth. It draws attention to three new poems each day and that helps drive hits to the site. As far as celebrating everything published here... Nah. I'd be content if more of these comments here just demonstrated that the person had actually read the poem. Most of the time I'm pretty skeptical about that, which is kind of sad. Better still would be comments that offer some kind of critical assessment, as you've offered here. It needn't be genius, but some evidence of thoughtful interaction might be nice. I here tell that there are people here who take poetry pretty seriously.

I think they use an algorithm to make a random selection. I mean, how else explain the consistent lack of quality? Quality doesn't seem to count for much around here. Just like in the real world.
